Apple has just announced the dates for its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024. WWDC will take place from June 10 to June 14, 2024. A special event will be held at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, on June 10 and it will be worth looking forward to seeing the launch of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, macOS 15 and VisionOS 2.
What is noteworthy about the WWDC 2024 event?
WWDC will be free for all online developers. Developers will be able to access a variety of online sessions and labs to showcase the latest software innovations across all Apple hardware.
The keynote will also be available for anyone to watch online through a livestream on the Apple Developer app, Apple’s website, and Apple’s YouTube channel. Apple will also share videos and information throughout the week.

Apple officially announced the date for the WWDC 2024 event
Although WWDC 2024 can be held online, Apple will also host a special in-person event for developers and students, but space is limited. To have a chance to attend, you will have to register through Apple’s ticket system (information available on Apple Developer). Those selected to attend will be able to watch the event live, meet Apple team members, and participate in special activities like the State of the Union presentation and the Apple Design Awards.
Usually, Apple holds the Swift Student Challenge after the WWDC date is revealed, but this year, Apple did the challenge early. The winners of the Swift Student Challenge will be revealed this week, on March 28. Challenge winners will be able to attend a special event at Apple Park, and 50 Outstanding Winners will receive received an invitation to Cupertino for a three-day experience.
