3TM.org – The latest version of HWiNFO, version 8.00, officially ended support for Windows XP and focused only on X64 systems going forward. Although 32-bit systems are still supported, the official installer will only be compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows.
HWiNFO officially released version v8.00
However, users can still access the 32-bit version through the portable installer. This change will not affect most users as 32-bit systems are now considered obsolete, with modern CPUs mainly supporting 64-bit operating systems.
Version 8.0 also introduces a built-in On-Screen Display (OSD) feature, which was previously in beta. This feature allows users to display system statistics directly from the HWiNFO tool without the need for additional software.
While the OSD beta was somewhat difficult for some users, this official release aims to deliver a smoother experience. Additionally, HWiNFO still supports Riva Statistic Server for those who prefer it without the need for additional installation.
