If you’re someone who enjoys playing old games and owns an Intel Arc GPU, there’s good news for you: Intel is still actively improving performance for such games. The latest update focuses on Directx11 games, aiming to optimize the performance of the Arc A-series (desktop/mobile) and the integrated Arc series (as in the Core Ultra series).
This driver update promises a performance increase of 5% to 48% depending on the game. Some games have small increases of around 5% like Days Gone, Unturned and VRChat, and games with increases of up to 15% like Dyson Sphere Program, Fortnite, Lethal Company, Mass Effect. In particular, there are games with strong increases from 30% to 48% such as Astronner and Need for Speed.
